We are seeking an experienced Type Training Instructor to join our Training team in a remote role based in the Asia-Pacific region, preferably in Malaysia, the Philippines, or Indonesia.

In this role, you will deliver theoretical and practical aircraft training in line with approved programmes and within the scope of the company’s regulatory approvals. Working closely with the wider Training team, you will help ensure that every course meets current aviation regulations, internal quality standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver theoretical and practical aircraft type training, both online and on-site, in accordance with approved training programmes, EASA Part-147 and Part-66 requirements, and company standards
  • Travel to customer locations across Asia to provide training and support customer requirements
  • Participate in examination activities as an examiner or invigilator and assist in developing and maintaining examination question banks
  • Support course planning and the ongoing development of training syllabi, training needs analyses (TNAs), and instructional materials
  • Work collaboratively with the Training team to maintain high standards of course delivery, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain the professional competence, qualifications, and approvals required for the instructor role

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant aviation qualifications and a minimum of five years’ aircraft maintenance experience
  • At least three years’ experience as an aircraft type training instructor under EASA Part-147 and Part-66 or a comparable regulatory framework
  • A valid EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, or an equivalent licence issued by a recognised national aviation authority
  • Practical experience with Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft; additional type ratings would be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of EASA Part-66, EASA Part-147, ICAO requirements, and aircraft maintenance training practices
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical subjects to diverse audiences
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively throughout Asia
  • Professional proficiency in English and strong computer literacy
  • A proactive, well-organised, and results-focused approach to work

What We Offer

  • A comprehensive range of company benefits, including initiatives that support an active and healthy lifestyle, employee discounts, and company events
  • The opportunity to build your career in aviation—one of the world’s most dynamic and rapidly growing industries
  • Strong opportunities for personal and professional development in a challenging and rewarding environment
  • A diverse, collaborative team united by a genuine passion for aviation
  • A culture built on trust, autonomy, and empowerment
